Overview
Valvoline Inc. is an American manufacturer and distributor of Valvoline-brand automotive oil, additives, and lubricants. It also owns the Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) and Valvoline Express Care chains of car repair centers. As of 2016, it is the second largest oil change service provider in the United States with 10% market share and 1,050 locations.
archateliê has partnered with Valvoline’s appointed architect to support the VIOC roll-out program and has been providing architectural services for outlets located throughout the United States, consistently supporting their business objectives and adding value to the design and documentation process.
HIGHLIGHTS
The design of VIOC outlets is modular in nature and there are 20+ prototypes with a combination of different finishes, facade treatment and number of service bays. Our team has set up the most efficient ways to work with these templates to quickly identify the correct one for each new project to enable a fast paced delivery timeframe. The deliverables consist of colored elevations submitted to clients for design and city approvals followed by a full permit set. We’ve rolled out 6 stores so far and expect to produce many more during the rest of this year and next.
