archateliê partnered with KU’s appointed architect and had the opportunity to get involved in the early design stages and development of the first prototype for this startup, field project roll-outs.

Our team was involved in the design and development of this unique prototype building based on the concept of integrating various types of container units to serve as leasable commercial kitchen units. The unique business model and modular container design led to a different approach of designing the circulation, service access and site as well as structural and MEP designs. We developed a very efficient CAD template for the prototype that would help the team roll-out the field projects faster and enable design changes to be incorporated more easily. In addition to the prototype, archatelie also produced three additional projects.
